Grin & Little Pediatric Dentistry exists to create a healing presence in our community. By building on a foundation of trust, integrity, and world-class pediatric care, we strive to create positive experiences and build healthy habits that will last your child for a lifetime!
Owner & Dentist
Get to Know Dr. Lucy
Dr. Lucy Hallajian was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, and she’s excited to be able to serve the community that helped her become who she is today. She was drawn to dentistry because she’s passionate about interacting with patients and working with her hands to make a positive impact in their lives.
Dr. Lucy earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from UC Irvine and went on to earn her dental degree from UCSF. It was during her time in dental school that she discovered her love for working with children: from teaching healthy habits and educating them about oral health to helping them overcome their fears, Dr. Lucy knew she’d found her passion. After completing dental school, she completed a two-year residency at USC, where she learned how to best work with and serve her young patients.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Lucy enjoys hiking, cycling, baking, and cooking, although recently she’s loved getting to spend her free-time with her newborn son.

Whether we’re getting your kiddo checked in or working with Dr. Lucy to provide treatment, each member of the team is committed to prioritizing your child’s comfort and well-being. Your First Visit
What to Expect
The Patient Experience
When you and your child first walk through our doors, you’ll be greeted by our comfortable, fun environment and our friendly office staff. You’ll be invited to sit down and relax as you fill out any new patient forms before your appointment, and your kiddo will get to visit our kid’s play area and take advantage of our awesome amenities. Once the forms are complete and Dr. Lucy is ready, we’ll invite you back into one of our operatories.
Your little one will receive a cleaning, comprehensive exam, x-rays, and a fluoride treatment, and Dr. Lucy will sit down with you to discuss the results. If everything looks good, you’ll be able to schedule their next appointment in the front office. If anything needs extra attention, Dr. Lucy will explain the results and take time to address any questions or concerns you might have, and she will describe any further treatment recommendations.
What to Bring
Your time is valuable to us! In order to help make your visit more efficient, we ask that you bring the following items to your appointment:
- ID
- Insurance information
- Child’s medical history
- Child’s list of medications (if applicable)
Tech & Amenities
We’ve designed our office to provide a fun, comfortable, and safe place for your child to call their dental home. Each kid-friendly amenity and piece of dental technology has been hand-selected with your little one’s well-being in mind, so you can rest assured that they are receiving the best care modern dentistry has to offer.
TVs & iPad station
When it comes to pediatric dentistry, sometimes the best way to ensure a positive experience for your child is to distract them from the care they are receiving! Each of our operatories is equipped with a ceiling-mounted TV and Netflix Kids streaming, so your little one can watch their favorite shows while we make sure their smile is nice and healthy.
Beverage Station
We get it: bringing your child to the dentist isn’t just hard for them–it’s tough being a parent in that situation! We see you, and we want to honor and reward your commitment to your child’s health and well-being. Our office has a complimentary beverage station stocked with all kinds of refreshments, so you can rest easy while your kiddo receives care.
Kid’s Play Items
Who says going to the dentist can’t be fun? At Grin & Little Pediatric Dentistry, we’ve got all kinds of toys and games for your child to play with. After one visit to our play area, your little one will be begging to visit the dentist again soon!
